Upon commencement, “Bring the Starting Point of the Silk Road to the World” – The 2021 Economic, Trade and Cultural Tour of Xi’an for Diplomatic Envoys to China, which is co-sponsored by Shaanxi Hantang Cultural and Creative Research Institute and Beijing LOOKWE International Cultural Development Co., Ltd., will join hands with more than 120 diplomatic envoys to China from over 50 countries to hold a grand meeting of international cultural exchanges. CCTV, Shaanxi TV Station, Xi’an TV Station, and international TV stations from corresponding countries (resident journalists in China) will follow the whole course of the event and broadcast related news around the world. The cultural exchange of diplomatic envoys to China in Shaanxi aims at achieving international cultural integration through cultural interaction and cultural collision. In this way, it finally archives the local economic development drive by local characteristic culture, effectively opens up international promotion and cooperation channels for Shaanxi’s regional economy and enterprise development, and promotes multi-country regional cooperation.
“Bring the Starting Point of the Silk Road to the World” – The 2021 Economic, Trade and Cultural Tour of Xi’an for Diplomatic Envoys to China covers such core areas as international business and trade cooperation, international cultural coordination, and a tribute to the 100th anniversary of the founding of the CPC. Four major activities include “Dream Back to the Prosperous Chang’an of Han and Tang Dynasties” – Cultural Night of Global Diplomatic Envoys to China in Xi’an, “The Silk Road • Chang’an” – Economic, Trade and Cultural Promotion Conference, “A View of City • Road to Arts” – Chang’an International Charity Exhibition on Paintings and Calligraphy, and “New Silk Road • New Hope” – A Tour of Global Diplomatic Envoys to China in Shaanxi (visits to enterprises and scenic spots). It is not only an international exhibition of the overall image of Shaanxi Province, but also a significant opportunity to create Shaanxi’s cultural symbols with local characteristics, strengthen effective communication with diplomatic envoys to China, and build a new image of local regions. In the meantime, focusing on President Xi Jinping’s request to develop major international economic and trade cooperation under the “Belt and Road” Initiative, this event truly realizes “bringing in and going out” in local regions and alignment with the international market, thus rapidly developing regional cooperation in different industries with more than 50 countries for Shaanxi and even the whole country and increasing and consolidating the share of international economic, trade and cultural cooperation.
“Sound relations between states lies in amity between the people, while the amity between the people lies in mutual understanding.” Exchanges lead to colorful civilization while mutual learning promotes diversified exchanges. Non-governmental international exchange is a rainbow bridge to build friendship and communication between China and foreign countries. “Bring the Starting Point of the Silk Road to the World” – The 2021 Economic, Trade and Cultural Tour of Xi’an for Diplomatic Envoys to China, by telling the stories of China and Shaanxi in a flexible and diverse, all-round and profound manner, will actively build platforms for Chinese enterprises and Shaanxi to promote exchanges and cooperation in different fields, build a “city circle of friends” and create an “eye” of city charm that will never fade away, and contribute to building a community with a shared future for mankind and promoting friendly exchanges between the people.
